No Trigger

The new No Tigger album is really good, it's called Canyoneer. It's not out till march 21, but i got it leaked from the net. Which is cool cuz i always buy the cd for the sole purpose of supporting the very few bands i appreciate.

School

School SUCKS!!!! i have to write a 2000 word essay today and i have no idea what to do, thats what you get for slacking off. so i guess its me that sucks, not school, anyway im screwed as of tomorrow when i hand it an incompetant essay. just thought everyone who deonst care, or know me should know that.

Champion + With Honor

This is sad, sad news. One of my favorite hardcore bands, Champion broke up. It's a shame, they were amazing, they embodied everything i valued in the hardcore music scene. Their music wil live on however, their positive message will be with me for a long time. They left a lasting mark on alot of people.

In other news the Todd, the lead singer from another one of my favorite hardcore bands, With Honor, left the band. I dont know why, i hope it wasnt anything stupid. Anyway i thought that sucked, he seemed like an awesome dude when i saw them live in november. Unlike Champion their still alive, and hopefully wont lose a step. If there had been two break-ups in two days i dont know if i could have made it.

Anyway, to Champion and Todd, thanks for the good times, hopefully for the sake of everyone who cares about hardcore music you guys will resurface in another capacity.

Gutless

I finished reading a novel called Half-Breed for my humanities class. Its written by a women name Maria Campbell and its essentially a story of her life, not entirely accurate, but close enough to make a point. She's a Metis Women(half native canadian, half european) and she gives you an understanding of what it's like to be Metis. the most intriguing thing i drew from it was how our mainstream soiceities wreckless pursuit of money screwed with her so bad. her values were so different and then, believing she could obtain things of material worth she geos of and pursues wealth in that same wreckless manner. needless to say it ends up putting her in the psych ward of a hospital. a really good book if you want to understand the struggle native people in North America face. i would reccomend it to anyone.
